Brian Delapena

Brian has been training in WTUSA under Kru Sam’s Master Muay Thai.  Muay Thai has driven Brian Delapena to new heights. Without it, Delapena would not have been able to achieve all that he has since his the start of his training. Delapena struggled with confidence during his school days, and was forced to drop out of college. Once he started learning the Muay Thai with World Team USA, he regained self-assurance, work ethic, ambition. He went back to school, and furthered his studies onto becoming a high school math teacher as well as a Muay Thai instructor here at World Team USA. Delapena hopes to continue to challenge himself and win championships.

EVOLUTION SPORTS EXPO

The Evolution Sports Expo is the premier sports event on the west coast. Featuring all of today’s elite fitness and martial arts disciplines and showcasing The nation’s top athletes in over 30 tournaments/competitions and events.

Our Six fighters will participate in Evolution Sport Expo’s tournament Kickboxing on April 17, 2018.

Once again Kru Sam puts his fighters to the test by allowing fights against more experienced fighters. Max Stein, Art Chunharakchote, Mauricio Zanipatin, Dylan Li, Laura Feeney and Miguel Tantiado will all show classic World Team USA techniques.

Rules and Regulations

Bouts are 1 to 3 rounds, 2-minute rounds for adults. 1:30 for kids. 1 minute rest in between rounds.

Foot and hand strikes to the entire body except joints, groin and spine area are allowed.

Chest/Body Pads can be used in Junior divisions. (Under 18)
